A podcast is a media file that is distributed over the internet using RSS feeds.
RSS
RSS stands for Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication. It is an XML file that provides an open method of aggregating and syndicating web content. Users can have regularly updated content delivered to them via news (or feed) readers.

Software as a Service (SaaS)
Historically companies needed their own infrastructure to run software. Software as a service essentially means individuals or organisations pay to use the software rather than owning it. This leaves issues such as hosting, maintenance, disaster recovery and scalability to the software provider.

A web application that allows users to add, edit or remove content.
