Consulting - Blended learning system

Driven played a crucial supporting role in building, integrating and implement a complex blended learning programme. This involved using Single-Sign-On for User Management & Learning Management, web based collaboration technologies and integrating with third party content and solutions. This project was for a government-sector leadership programme with a user base of over 100,000.

Building - Development of an e-portfolio

Driven Systems were presented with the challenge to track evidence based learning assessments by building an e-portfolio. Driven developed a 'learning process driven workflow' solution to allow Coaches and Learners to communicate through shared information and assignments. The e-portfolio included User Management and Document Storage capabilities.

Migration of over 500 Docent Outliner courses to a SCORM standard.

When one of the world's largest shipping firms chose to migrate their LMS platform, it was recognised this needed the right strategic approach to recover the significant investment made into bespoke courseware. In addition, it was crucial that the user base did not lose access to the courses. Driven built an automated process which allowed all content to be migrated and tested to the SCORM standard.

When a company de-merges how do you provide continuity of access to knowledge?

A Major Tele-Communications company de-merged from their Business Group. They were required to maintain all records of training and compliance previously provided through a Group wide LMS solution.

The steps to facilitate a de-merged environment included:

  • migration of the LMS platform
  • migration of data (user records, training history and content)
  • testing of all user workflows (for administration, users, content and compliance).

Replacement costs for management level positions can exceed 150% of annual salary.
